Come to find out, the Secret Service are the ones who told folks not to bring guns to the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) annual meeting in Dallas, Texas, that will have President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence as the speakers. At least, that’s what the folks over at the Associated Press (AP) tweeted.
The AP said in a tweet, “NRA members can bring their guns during most of the annual meeting in Dallas-but not while Trump and Pence are speaking. The Secret Service has barred them during their speeches.”
The word was out that the NRA had banned guns at Pence’s speech and some folks saw what they believe was the NRA’s doing as hypocritical to the organizations tough stance on gun laws.
Now I must say that the folks over there at the NRA have brought a lot of the criticism upon themselves.
Getting into Twitter fights with teenagers and taking money from shady Russians is just not something you want to do if you want folks to be impartial towards you.
Luckily for the NRA, the AP came out and told folks that they got it wrong the first time and that it was the Secret Service who told folks not to bring their guns to Trump's or Pence’s speech.
To tell y’all the truth, I’m just surprise the Secret Service didn’t ban all women from Trump’s speech and single women from Pence’s speech.
Trump can’t be around a woman without wanting to grab her by the pussy.
As for Pence, he doesn’t believe a man should be around a single woman if that man doesn’t have a girlfriend, fiancé, or wife he can bring along.
